Islamic Republic of Pakistan is a country in South Asia. Pakistan is the fifth most popular country with a population of 227 million. It is the 33rd largest country with a scale of 881913. It has a 1046 long coastline just along the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman in the south. It is surrounded by India in the east, Afghanistan to the west, Iran is to the southwest and China is to the northeast.

Population:

The population of Pakistan has four tribes of Punjabi, Pashtoon, Sindths, and Balochs. The national language of Pakistan is Urdu which is understood by almost 75% of Pakistanis, whereas English is the official language in Pakistan which is only spoken in business and governments.

Pakistanis are followed by three religions people first the Muslims which are 96.4%, Hindus which are 1.5%, and Christians which are 1.5%. The are many other religious people also such as Buddism, Sikhism, Jainism, and Parsi.

Cultures: Culture of Pakistan

Pakistan is a place of many ancient cultures including the Neolithic site of Mehrgarh in Balochistan which is 8500 years old, and the Indus civilization of the Bronze Age, the most extensive civilization of the old world.

The region that consists of the modern state of Pakistan has a region of several dynasties and empires which is Alexander the great, the Gupta, the Kushan, the Maurya, the Seleucid, the Hindu Shahi, the Ghaznavids, the Umayyad Caliphate, and the most recent the British Indian Empire from 1858 to 1947.

Independence:

Pakistan gained independence on 14 August 1947 After the partition of the British Indian Empire, which has given the majority of Muslims a separate statehood and was followed by unique mass migration and loss of life. Pakistan has officially composed its constitution in 1956 and has emerged as the Islamic Republic.

In 1971, East Pakistan has separated as a new country of Bangladesh after a 9-month long civil war. Pakistan is lead by government and its explanations, if complex rotates between civilian and military, democratic and authoritarian relatively between Islamist and secular.

Cities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

The capital of Pakistan is Islamabad which is the 2nd beautiful capital in the world. The largest city, port, and business capital is Karachi, and the second-largest city in Pakistan is Lahore. The further great cities which are rich in their beauty are Faislabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Hyderabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.

The Northern areas are the most captivating and interesting places in Pakistan. The most famous places are the Himalayas, the Karakoram, and the Hindu Kush. The most visiting places of Pakistan are Gilgit Baltistan, Hunza, Swat, Kalam, and Kumrat, these are which are calming and soul relaxing places.

The visitors of these magnificent places are overloaded with charm, the fragrant breeze which is mind relaxing through the beautiful trees and the wheat- fields like a carpet of green velvet.

Popularity:

Pakistan is a site of the world’s 2nd largest mountain known as K2 which is located in the Baltistan region Gilgit Baltistan with a range of 8611m. There are many beautiful cities and places in Pakistan, but when visiting Pakistan you should visit Lahore the city of Punjab, and Islamabad the capital of Pakistan.

Lahore is the most global city in the country. The city is famous for its history and culture, it features the 17 century Mughal Era Wazir Khan Mosque, the 16 century Lahore Fort, and the Minar-e-Pakistan which is Pakistan’s national tower.

Islamabad is known for its various forest, parks the most famous are Shakar Parian and Maralla Hills National Park.

Relation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with other Countries

Pakistan is an active quorum of the United Nation, but it has a bit difficult relationship with its neighbor India. Both countries are fighting over the disputed territory of Kashmir for years, it has also bad relations with neighbor Afghanistan and Iran.

Pakistan has long good relations with China and wide-ranging consensual relation with America and other western countries. Pakistan was also a part of American-sponsored CENTO and SEATO military associations. But the associations with America were ended when the Soviets occupied Afghanistan, its bordering country.

The cause of good relations with Turkey is that Pakistan has signed a Regional Cooperation For Development(RCD) Pact with Turkey and Iran, and all the three countries united closely with the U.S.Islamic Republic of Pakistan

The Relation of Pakistan with other Islamic Countries

As an Islamic country, Pakistan came into existence on the basis of the Two-Nation theory, therefore it is called the citadel of Islam. This is why it has a notable place among all the Muslim countries. Pakistan plays a vital role in serving the Islamic countries in their difficult times but also solved the controversies of the nation of the world.

Pakistan is aiming to create mutual interest of Islamic countries. To encourage trade and economic relations with Central Asian states and keep in knowing the current situation of Afghanistan, and act realistic policies according to it. If Pakistan becomes successful in creating unity among Islamic nations, then the Muslim world will get a supreme place on an international level.
