Record High in Pakistan Stock Exchange
KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) touched a new record on Thursday. The benchmark KSE-100 Index crossed 153,000 points during the trading session. It gained over 1,000 points and peaked at 153,411 before easing back.
Closing Figures of KSE-100 Index
The KSE-100 Index closed at 152,665.72 points. On Wednesday, it had closed at 152,201.88 points. This marked a net gain of 463.85 points, or 0.30 percent, compared to the last trading day.
Trading Volume and Market Value
The trading value stood at Rs 46.053 billion. This was lower than Rs 51.308 billion recorded the previous day. Total share volume was 954,327,333 compared to 1,043,232,122 a day earlier.
