Pakistan’s Strong Response

Pakistan reaffirmed full support for the Palestinian struggle. It backed the demand for a sovereign and independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as the capital.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, criticized countries shielding Israel in the UN Security Council. He warned that such support has enabled mass killings in Gaza.

Call for Action

Ahmad urged the UN Security Council to stop being a bystander and fulfill its responsibility to ensure peace and security. He said Israel’s impunity has become its shield.

Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

The envoy highlighted the destruction in Gaza, where more than 62,000 people, mostly women and children, have been killed. He called it mass carnage, not collateral damage.

Ethnic Cleansing Accusations

Ahmad accused Israel of ethnic cleansing through killings, forced displacement, famine, and land destruction. He condemned Israel’s plan to fully occupy Gaza City, calling it a blueprint for more humanitarian catastrophe that could displace one million more Palestinians.
